The 2005 Levallois-Honfleur bike tour
September 10, 2005

Each year, the Levallois-Honfleur bike tour takes 3000 souls from Levallois (a suburb of Paris) to Honfleur in the northern cost of France in La Manche (i.e., The English Channel). This year, my road riding partner, Sonia, convinced me and her friend, Jean François, of joining her in this seemingly pointless "tour of stupidity". I must admit that the event was fabulously organized and much fun. And although we were wet to the core and very tired, we had a great day along 208 km (130 miles) of beautiful French country roads.

Below are a few pictures that we took during the long day -- may they properly remind us so next year we can say a resounding NO to Sonia when she proposes to do it all over again.
